Seed Oil Tracker ("we", "us", or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy describes what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

• Account identifier: If you create an account, we store your email address and a generated user ID.
• Meal logs: Food items and PUFA gram values you log are stored locally on your device and are not transmitted to our servers.
• Purchase status: We store only whether you have an active premium subscription (yes/no). We never store or process payment information — all billing is handled exclusively by Apple or Google.
• Usage data: Basic anonymized usage statistics may be collected to improve the app.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and maintain the app's features
• To verify premium subscription status
• To respond to support requests
• To improve the app and fix bugs

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes. Ever.

3. Third-Party Services

• Apple (iOS) / Google (Android): Handle all subscription billing. Subject to Apple's Privacy Policy and Google's Privacy Policy.
• MongoDB Atlas: Our database provider. Data is stored in encrypted, access-controlled clusters. Subject to MongoDB's Privacy Policy.
• Render: Our backend hosting provider (pufa-tracker.onrender.com). Subject to Render's Privacy Policy.

4. Data Retention

Meal log data is stored locally on your device and can be permanently deleted at any time from the app's Settings screen. Account data is retained while your account is active and deleted upon written request.

5. Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us. If you are located in the EU/EEA, you have additional rights under the GDPR including the right to data portability.

6. Children's Privacy

Seed Oil Tracker is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such data, contact us immediately.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy occasionally. We will post the updated version at this URL and update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance.
